Nedimo

Terms of Use

Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the Nedimo team, based in Greece and operating Nedimo. By downloading or using Nedimo you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Nedimo is built and run by a very small team — most days, one person. "We" and "the Nedimo team" mean the same thing throughout.

1. What Nedimo is

Nedimo is a library of original sleep stories. We write them and narrate them in advance, using AI tools, and publish them in the app. You browse the library and press play. Nothing is being written or spoken while you listen — you're playing a finished recording, the same one everyone else hears.

Nedimo is a general wellness product. See section 9.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nedimo. The service is intended for adults. We do not offer child accounts or parent-managed accounts for people under 18.

The current sign-up form does not collect an age band or date of birth. We do not claim to verify your age.

3. Your account

You need an account to use Nedimo. Give accurate information and keep your email current so we can reach you. Keep your login to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person. Tell us at nedimo.app@gmail.com if you think someone else has got in.

You can delete your account at any time at Settings → Account → Delete account, or at app.nedimo.com/delete-account-request without signing in.

4. What you may and may not do

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nedimo on devices you own or control, and to listen to the stories in the library, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Downloads are for offline listening on your own devices while your access lasts.

You may not:

5. Price and payments

The current release is free to use and does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. We do not collect payment-card details. If paid features are introduced later, their price and terms will be shown before any purchase, and these terms and our privacy disclosures will be updated.

6. Who owns what

The stories are ours. Everything in the Nedimo library — the text, the recordings, the artwork, the app itself — belongs to us or is used by us under licence. You're getting permission to listen, not ownership of anything.

We'll be straight about one thing here, because it's easy to get wrong. Work generated by AI without meaningful human authorship attracts limited or no copyright protection in the EU, the UK, and the US, and we're not going to pretend our library is protected more strongly than the law allows. What we can say is that the restrictions in section 4 are terms of this agreement between you and us, and they apply whether or not any particular story carries copyright.

What's yours stays yours. You don't write stories in Nedimo, so there's very little of yours in the app: your display name, your saved list, and anything you send us. That's it, and none of it is ours.

Feedback and reports. If you tell us a story is unsettling, or suggest something, we may act on it and build it without owing you anything. We won't publish your name or your message without asking. We won't use anything you send us in marketing.

7. How the stories are made

Every Nedimo story is written and narrated by AI. We do that in advance, with our own outlines and our own material. You never write a prompt, and nothing you type goes to an AI provider.

8. Acceptable use

Nedimo has no way for you to publish anything, so most of what usually goes here doesn't apply. What's left is short:

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

9. Nedimo is not medical advice

Nedimo is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device, and it is not a treatment.

Our story structure, pacing, and narration draw on published research about sleep and about how narrative affects arousal and attention. That research informs the design. It does not make Nedimo a clinical intervention.

Nedimo has not been clinically tested. No study has measured whether Nedimo helps you fall asleep faster or sleep better. Research informing a design is not evidence that the product works, and we won't blur the two.

Nedimo does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent insomnia, sleep apnoea, anxiety, or any other condition. It is not therapy, it is not CBT-I, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

Please see a doctor if trouble sleeping has lasted more than a few weeks, if you're exhausted during the day despite enough time in bed, if you snore heavily or stop breathing in your sleep, if sleep problems come alongside low mood or anxiety, or if you're using alcohol or medication to get to sleep. Sleep problems are often a symptom of something treatable.

If you're in crisis and thinking about harming yourself, please reach out now: emergency across the EU, 112. Greece, 1018 (Suicide Help Line, 24/7). UK, 116 123 (Samaritans). US, 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Nedimo is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency.

10. The library changes, and availability

Stories come and go. We add stories, and sometimes we remove one — because a report showed a problem with it, because a voice was retired, or because it simply wasn't good enough. A story you liked may not be there forever, and a download of a removed story may stop playing. What we're selling you is access to the library as it stands, not a permanent copy of any particular story.

We aim to keep Nedimo running but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what you paid for, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of your current period where we're able to.

If you're in the EU, we'll provide the updates needed to keep the app in conformity for as long as you can reasonably expect, given what the app is for.

11. Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows.

Our total liability to you for any claim connected to Nedimo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data where you could reasonably have kept a copy.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory rights are unaffected, and nothing here removes protections you have under the law of the country you live in.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Nedimo and delete your account whenever you like.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, with notice where it's practical. If we close a paid account for any reason other than a breach, we'll refund the unused part of your current period where we're able to.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law.

If you're a consumer, you also have the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there. Contact us first at nedimo.app@gmail.com — most things get sorted that way. If we can't resolve it, consumers in Greece can go to the Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr); consumers elsewhere in the EU can use their national alternative dispute resolution body.

14. App store terms

If you got Nedimo from the App Store: these terms are between you and the Nedimo team, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or to handle any claim relating to the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on a prohibited-party list. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app.

If you got Nedimo from Google Play: the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

15. Changes to these terms

We'll post changes here and update the date. Material changes will be notified in the app and take effect 30 days later. Continuing to use Nedimo after that means you accept the updated terms. If you don't, you can delete your account.
